Generation (GENM) has made new hires as its Marathon Project enters permitting and development.
Vice President of Geology
Mauro Bassotti brings over 24 years of diverse international and domestic experience with open pit and underground mines in gold, copper and other base metals.
Most recently, Bassotti was Senior Director of Geology at Ma’aden Mining. Previously, he served as Director of Resources and Reserves for Detour Gold. He also has international experience with New Gold and Barrick Gold.
Previous Exploration Manager John McBride has resigned but will serve as a consultant on the Marathon Project.
VP Investor Relations
Ann Wilkinson has over 20 years of experience in the mining industry in both investor relations and other management roles across Chile, the Dominican Republic, Brazil and Honduras.
She previously served as VP of Investor Relations and Corporate Affairs with Gold Resource Corporation, as well as VP of Investor Relations with TMAC Resources, GoldQuest Mining, Colossus Minerals and Breakwater Resources.
Technical Services Manager
Daniel Janusauskas’ experience includes time as Technical Services Superintendent for Baffinland Iron Mines in Nunavut, as well as Strategic Mine Engineer with Detour Gold.
Generation Mining is focused on developing its Marathon Project, a billion-dollar platinum group metals deposit in northwestern Ontario. The property will produce an estimated 245,000 palladium equivalent ounces per year over a 13-year mine life.
