Geekco (GKO) and Eva Coop, a ride-sharing cooperative, are now joining forces to promote local businesses through the FlipNpik application.

FlipNpik is a Quebec-based social media application for small businesses and entrepreneurs. The partnership between Geekco and Eva will promote FlipNpik by offering exclusive promotional benefits to Eva members.

The app will also reward users who actively promote local businesses.

“We believe that this social network will allow users to find more meaning within their immediate environment, unlike the chaos we are exposed to in current social networks,” commented Eva’s Operational Leader and Co-founder Dardan Isufi.

It is only natural for Eva to partner with FlipNpik, a local business pioneer that is emerging as the solution to a global problem for our communities,” said Mr. Isufi.

Eva describes itself as a socially responsible cooperative. Founded in Quebec, the company operates with the mission to offer delivery and passenger transport services at a very competitive price and thus to contribute to the local economy by responding to the growing demand. Nadira Hajjar, President of Geekco, commented on the partnership with Eva.

“In Eva, we recognize the identity and example of Quebec’s entrepreneurship. Before the pandemic, Eva was only a passenger transport service. Since the start of the pandemic, they have been able to adapt their services to better serve the community and businesses with a range of services at very competitive prices and without commission.”

“The pandemic has created multiple economic victims, especially in the restaurant and retail landscape. It is our duty to encourage local companies that offer solutions that are more viable, responsible and beneficial to the local economy,” added Ms. Hajjar.

“Eva perfectly represents the values of the typical partner we are looking for at FlipNpik,” said Erik Giasson, CEO of Geekco. Geekco Technologies is engaged in the business of providing digital marketing services.

The company provides a platform for local businesses to promote and market their products.

Geekco Technologies (GKO) opened trading on the TSXV at C$0.55 per share.
