GameSquare Esports (GSQ) has appointed Sabrina Hao as Head of Asia and a member of its advisory board.

Hao is a seasoned entrepreneur with expertise in global business development and a wealth of business connections in China and Canada that will be accretive to the company.

She was instrumental in securing Reciprocity Corporation’s first international franchise in China as well as in the acquisition of Rainbow 7, the company’s League of Legends team in Latin America.

She will continue to manage Reciprocity’s investment in the LGD.REC CrossFire franchise in China and build partnerships across GameSquare portfolio companies including the Gaming Community Network, Code Red Esports Ltd. and Rainbow 7.

Hao is currently a partner with Epic Capital Management, a firm that specializes in publicly traded hedge funds and Canadian small and mid-cap securities.

Hao holds a degree in psychology from the University of Toronto and a certification in cross-cultural training consulting and international protocol from the Academy of London and the IVP in Switzerland.
