Mario Stifano, CEO of Galantas Gold (TSXV:GAL), sat down with Sonia Madigan of The Market Herald at PDAC 2022 to discuss the company’s upcoming gold production planned for its Omagh project, which is located west of Belfast in Northern Ireland.

The project sits to the west of Omagh, the main administrative centre of Tyonre. At the project, Galantas Gold holds five exploration licenses that span an area of 596.7 square kilometres.

Stifano told The Market Herald that through its upcoming gold production at the project, the company plans to grow both its resource and production into 2023 to approximately 18,000 ounces of gold.

Production is expected to reach between 4,500 to 5,500 ounces for the remainder of the year before jumping to its anticipated 18,000 ounces of gold in concentrate by 2023.

Meanwhile a second phase development would increase annual production to 35,000 ounces of gold per year.
