Fission 3.0 (FUU) has intersected 3.48 metres of total composite mineralization at the PLN project on the A1 conductor.

The company announced that the first follow-up drill hole of the new high-grade discovery in hole PLN22-035 made the discovery with greater than 10,000 counts per second (cps), including 2.5 metres of total off-scale radioactivity.

The follow-up hole, PLN22-038, is still in progress. Two additional follow-up holes of a 7-hole program are planned in the immediate vicinity of this new mineralization before the Christmas break.

Highlights from PLN22-038:

  • 12.5 metres total composite mineralization >300 cps over a 13-metre interval (between 239 metres to 252 metres), including
    • 3.48 metres of total composite mineralization >10,000 cps over a 7.15-metre interval (between 243.85 metres and 250.7 metres, including
      • 2.5 metres of total off-scale radioactivity (>65,535 cps) over a 3-metre interval (between 244 metres and 247 metres)

Raymond Ashley, Fission 3.0’s Vice President of Exploration, called this a great start to the follow-up step-out drilling, that the strongly mineralized structure has been intersected.

“Two additional drill holes are planned near the high-grade discovery in the current program to establish the orientation and geometry of the mineralization. The two diamond drills and sonic drill on the property will continue to work in the immediate vicinity of the discovery hole for the remainder of the PLN fall drill program.”

Fission 3.0 is a uranium project generator and exploration company focused on 16 projects in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin.

The company’s 400 sq. km. Patterson Lake North property (PLN) is located just within the south-western edge of the Athabasca Basin in proximity to Fission Uranium’s Triple R and NexGen Energy’s Arrow high-grade uranium deposits.

Fission 3.0 (FUU) is up 12.50 per cent, trading at $0.27 per share as of 10:05 am ET.
