Brandon Macdonald, CEO of Fireweed Zinc, commented on the appointment.

“Fireweed is pleased to extend a warm welcome to Pamela as she joins our growing management team,” he said.

“Pamela’s unique combination,” he added, “of extensive Yukon-based experience and her experience in permitting and advancing major projects in western Canada will be instrumental in the development of a holistic permitting, engagement, and consultation strategy for Macmillan Pass.”

Pamela O’Hara is a Registered Professional Biologist with experience in Indigenous relations, community engagement and consultation, and environmental management.

She is known for her collaborative approach and strong leadership, particularly for overcoming challenges and effectively obtaining project approvals.

Ms. O’Hara believes that authentic, mutually respectful connections among people, as well as working towards shared common goals, are essential to achieving a sustainable future.
