Fancamp Exploration (FNC) will begin its 2022 drill program at the Harvey Hill project in March.

A portion of the program will be focused on 400 metres of prospective copper mineralization that Fancamp detected in 3D modelling of the Harvey Hill project.

Grab samples taken from the area intersected promising grades including 10.1 per cent copper, 3.16g/t gold, and 11.6g/t silver in addition to other precious metals.

The company has two objectives for drilling in this area:

  1. The potential thickening of the mineralized horizon; and
  2. The possibility of extending the copper mineralization from Harvey Hill toward the Foy Zone to the northwest.

The 2022 drill program will also follow up on the 80-hole 2019 and 2020 drill programs.

The best drill hole intercept from those programs was in hole DDH HH19-26, which intersected 1.77 per cent copper over 9.0 metres at 120 metres down hole. This intersection is thought to be situated between the Foy zone and the Harvey Hill main mineralized zone.

Harvey Hill is a past producing copper and precious metal-bearing project, located northeast of the town of Thetford Mines in Quebec. The mine was discovered in the mid-1800s and operated intermittently until its final closure in the mid 1980s.

Fancamp is a growing Canadian mineral exploration company with properties in Quebec, Ontario, and New Brunswick. Its interests are in chromium, strategic rare-earth metals, gold, zinc, titanium and more.

The company is also developing energy reduction technology with its advanced titanium extraction strategy.

Shares in Fancamp Exploration (FNC) are up 5.0 per cent, trading at $0.105 per share as of 3:34 pm EST.
