Fairplay Ventures (FPY.P) has announced the appointment of Bruno Amadi to its board of directors.

Amadi brings over 40 years of capital markets and corporate governance experience.

He is a former Partner at KPMG and holds a Chartered Professional Accountant and Fellowship Chartered Professional Accountant designations.

Amadi was actively involved in over 90 mergers, acquisitions and divestiture transactions in Canada and internationally across a variety of industries.

He replaces Andriyko Herchak, who has resigned to pursue other business interests.

Nicholas Meyer, CEO of FPY, commented on the appointment.

“We are very pleased to have Bruno join our team. Bruno brings decades of experience in capital markets and corporate governance. He has an extensive network of contacts across many industries which will be of great benefit to the company.”

Fairplay Ventures is a capital pool company. It has not commenced commercial operations and the company currently has no assets other than a minimum amount of cash.

Fairplay Ventures (FPY.P) opened trading at $0.10 per share.
