Equity Metals Corporation (EQTY) has provided an updated report on the newly increased independent mineral resource estimate for the Silver Queen Project in British Columbia.

Compared to the project’s 2019 mineral resource estimate, the new report included a 2.6 million tonne increase for the indicated resources.

The newly indicated resources were recorded as 3.46 million tonnes averaging 189 grams of silver per tonne, 2.13 grams of gold per tonne, 0.24 per cent copper, 0.60 per cent lead, and 3.50 per cent zinc. This equated to 62.8 million ounces of silver equivalent.

The inferred resources also increased by 1.1 million tonnes to 1.92 million tonnes averaging 162 grams of silver per tonne, 0.80 grams of gold per tonne, 0.23 per cent copper, 0.50 per cent lead, and 2.00 per cent zinc. This came to 22.5 million ounces of silver equivalent for the inferred category.

The updated estimate integrated an additional 25,659 metres of core drilling, which was completed from 2020 until 2022m updated metal recoveries and pricing. The estimate featured lateral and down-dip extensions of the previously modelled No. 3 and NG-3 veins and new mineralization from the Camp and Sveinson targets.

President of Equity Metals, Joe Kizis, commented,

“The [estimate] remains open for additional delineation west of the Camp Target and within the Sveinson Target… there are several targets that have only been tested by a few drill holes and remain very attractive areas for new discoveries and [estimate] increase.”

Equity Metals Corporation (EQTY) is up 40.00 per cent and is trading at $0.10 per share as of 1:16 p.m. EST.
