Entourage Health Corp. (ENTG) is ready to hit the market with a cannabis-infused beverage, ‘TeaPot’.

Developed and formulated alongside Boston Beer’s cannabis subsidiary BBCCC Inc., TeaPot is the BBC’s first infused beverage offering, available in select Canadian provinces commencing July 2022.

TeaPot blends real tea with cannabis to give each blend a pairing that correlates with specific times of the day. Major marketing 101.

The first release to hit the market will be ‘Good Day Iced Tea.’ This is made with real-lemon black tea and infused with Pedro’s Sweet Sativa, a distinguished cultivar grown and sold exclusively by Entourage.

Each can (355 ml) of TeaPot contains 5 mg of THC and is crafted to minimize any cannabis taste or aroma. As some would know who have tried cannabis drinks, there tends to be a strong, distinct flavour at times.

TeaPot will release additional varietals for consumers’ enjoyment in the coming months.

“We congratulate our partners at The Boston Beer Company on the exciting launch of TeaPot – a unique iced tea crafted with natural flavours and infused with the most distinguished cultivars that we expect will land as the best cannabis-infused beverages in Canada,” said George Scorsis, CEO and Executive Chairman, Entourage.

“Together, our consumer-savvy, quality-driven approach to product development has made for a complementary collaboration alongside Peak, our processing and bottling partner, ensuring every beverage is prepared with the highest care and excellence,” added Scorsis.

Looking back at 2020, the cannabis-infused beverage market share in Canada alone has increased to roughly 850 per cent. The market is currently more prominent than the U.S. cannabis beverage market, according to Headset retail data (March 2022).

Back in 2021, BBC, Peak and Entourage entered into a development, supply, manufacturing, marketing and sale agreement to develop cannabis-infused beverages using Entourage’s cannabinoid-rich input biomass cultivated at its centre-of-excellence in Strathroy-Ontario.

The base or initial product is processed and formulated into beverages at Peak’s state-of-the-art Windsor, Ontario facility.

Entourage is also the exclusive distributor of cannabis-infused beverages in Canada, leveraging its expansive local sales and marketing network on behalf of BBC.

Entourage Health Corp. is the parent company of Entourage Brands Corp. (formerly WeedMD RX Inc.) and CannTx Life Sciences Inc.

Entourage Health Corp. (ENTG) is up 16.67 per cent, trading at C$0.07 at 2:39 pm ET.
