Draganfly (DFLY) will be hosting an update for its shareholders virtually on January 28, 2021.

Cameron Chell, Draganfly CEO, is facilitating the meeting and will provide a corporate update.

There will be an update on Draganfly’s projects, customers, recent sales, and facilitating pre-submitted and live chat questions and answers.

Draganfly has invited a special guest to join the meeting, Wayne Williams, CEO of Coldchain Technology Services.

Recently, Draganfly has been selected by Coldchain Technology to design, build and operate a turnkey vaccine and medical delivery service for remote and challenging locations.

Another individual who will be present is Justin Hannewyk, President of Draganfly’s subsidiary that oversees flight services.

Draganfly is strongly pursuing helping the health sector through its technology. William Santana Li, CEO of Knightscope, is teaming up with Draganfly to integrate mobile vital sign screening technology into its autonomous security robots and security applications.

To do this, this system will use an advanced microcontroller to perform sophisticated image processing in real-time. The hope is to do this while consuming less than 50 watts of electrical power.

Despite its small size and power consumption, this fully-featured system has a web-based API that works seamlessly with Knightscope’s autonomous security platform.

Another project that took place at the beginning of January was the spraying services for Alabama State University.

Areas of the university are the basketball arena and the stadium. These areas will be covered with Varigard disinfectant, which Draganfly says provides up to 24 hours and more of a protective COVID pathogen kill zone and spread retardant layer.

Draganfly CEO Cameron Chell is looking forward to the meeting with shareholders and letting them know what will be happening shortly.

“2021 has just started, and Draganfly has already announced important corporate initiatives, as well as made several customer and engineering announcements,” he said.

Draganfly creates UVS and software and is a drone solution developer and operator within the commercial UAV, RPAS, and UVS space, serving public safety, agriculture and many other markets.

Draganfly (DFLY) is up 7.33 per cent and is currently trading at C$2.93 at 11:14 am EST.
