Dios Exploration (DOS) reported recent sample results from its Quebec-based K2 project defined copper-gold-silver mineralization.

Dios just received a report from its geological consultants on prospecting, rock sampling and diamond drilling. The results are from drilling done during the company’s fall program, where it tested southwest of prospective gold-bearing shears and porphyry bodies.

According to Dios, its most significant copper intercept was 1645 parts per million copper with 1.93 grams of silver per tonne over 35.2 metres.

Dios drilled 13 holes for 2540 meters by helicopter on ten conductors associated with surface gold-silver-copper grab samples and soil samples. Prospecting on the conductors included 1304 core samples and 101 grab samples.

Conductors showed varying gold results

As a part of the program, a one-kilometre-long PP-5 conductor was outlined by surveying done in the fall with six holes drilled. Additionally, hole 10 struck 3.64 grams of gold per tonne, 1.11 grams of silver per tonne, and 0.55 per cent zinc over 0.5 metres along a 400-metre-long PP-10 IP conductor. The company stated follow-up work should be pursued at this horizon.

Southwest of these conductors, the PP-9 conductor yielded low to average grades of gold in two holes. 200m north, prospecting found continuous low-grade gold from grab samples on quartz veins.

Lastly, along the PP-1 conductor, 2022 surface prospecting yielded low gold grades from more quartz veins. The PP-3 intersected a sheared gabbro with some vein systems. A few kilometres southwest of here, Dios discovered up to 8.28 per cent copper at Kali Lake, 3.71 per cent at Attila and 6.42 per cent at Curry.

Dios Exploration (DOS) is unchanged, trading at $0.10 per share as of 1:21 p.m. EST.
