Datametrex AI (DM) is providing COVID-19 testing to Air Canada front-line employees.

The technology company’s COVID testing arrangement with the airline is being completed on an as-needed basis. Datametrex AI was selected as one of the testing and travel partners of Air Canada as publicly disclosed by the airline in a tweet last year.

Datametrex CEO Marshall Gunter said the company has distributed thousands of PCR-based tests to companies and employees over the last seven months.

“With many companies looking to keep employees safe and healthy and especially with flight crews requiring a negative COVID-19 test to fly, Datametrex is proud to be a solution partner with Air Canada to safely and with confidence keep its flight crews and customers alike protected,” he said.

On January 7, anyone flying to Canada must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test prior to boarding their flight.

Air Canada employees such as pilots, pilot trainees and flight attendants will have access to the PCR based COVID-19 testing arranged by Datametrex AI.

Datamatrex AI is currently up 11.11 per cent to 20 cents per share at 12:35am EST.
