CurrencyWorks (CWRK) is working with its first municipality and Fogdog Energy Solutions Inc to implement its Zer00 crypto mining platform.

The Zer00 crypto mining platform is CurrencyWorks’ proprietary multi-step integrated platform that will be implemented as a thermal treatment for waste, rather than burning it, to generate energy.

The initial unit will process municipal solid waste to generate enough power to run up to 200 cryptocurrency mining machines. The energy generated is environmentally friendly, and the system will be self-sustainable.

This technology will also reduce waste that would otherwise end up in landfills and contribute to greenhouse gas emissions containing methane.

According to recent research by Facts & Factors, the global cryptocurrency market was estimated at US$792.53 million in 2019 and may reach US$5,190.62 million by 2026.

Today, investors want projects that incorporate clean energy, so implementing clean energy blockchain solutions is critical now more than ever before.

“CurrencyWorks is excited to be working to implement a zero-cost energy Crypto solution,” remarked Cameron Chell, chairman of CurrencyWorks.

He added, “CurrencyWorks Zer00 crypto operations help to develop a sustainable way of minimizing MSW and using that energy to mine for crypto.”

CurrencyWorks is a financial technology blockchain pioneer and NFT, digital currency, and payment platform provider.

CurrencyWorks Inc. (CWRK) is down 3.82 per cent, trading at $1.26 per share as of 11:11 am ET.
