CULT Food Science (CULT) has signed a letter of intent to acquire FRM.

FRM publishes news, interviews and editorials online focused on early-stage growth companies in the plant-based and cell-based foods sectors. Its assets include the Plant Finance and Cell-Based Finance brands and associated social media accounts.

Launched in 2020, Plant Finance has over 84,000 average monthly impressions with over one million over the past year from a current audience of approximately 3,000 people.

Launched in early 2022, the CellBased_Fin Twitter profile has over 307,000 average monthly impressions and an audience of over 2,000 people.

CULT believes the acquisition will amplify the narrative surrounding its investment portfolio and asset development initiatives, as well as the viability of cell-based foods to improve the sustainability of the world’s food system.

The parties intend to finalize a definitive agreement within 60 days.

“Entering into this LOI with the intention to acquire FRM marks a strategic evolution for CULT Food Science as we aim to further harness the power of social media to advance the important messaging around cellular agriculture during these inflationary times,” said Lejjy Gafour, CULT’s CEO.

CULT Food Science is an investment platform with exposure to the most innovative start-up, private or early-stage cultivated meat, cell-based dairy and other cultured food companies around the world.

CULT Food Science (CULT) is down by 6.67 per cent trading at $0.07 per share as of 10:17 am EST.
