Carlyle (CCC) has been awarded an exploration permit for its Newton Project in B.C.

The permit authorizes a proposed five-year area-based work system and exploration program.

The 100-per-cent owned project is located in B.C.’s Clinton Mining Division and contains an historic NI 43-101 compliant resource of 1.57M ounces of gold and 7.7M ounces of silver.

The permit was granted by the British Columbia Ministry of Energy, Mines and Low Carbon Innovation.

“Carlyle is looking forward to the 2022 exploration season at its 100-per-cent owned Newton Project,” stated Morgan Good, Carlyle’s President and CEO. “The phase one exploration strategy is expected to commence in early summer.”

“We are also delighted to be able to move forward and continue building our relationship with the Ministry, as well as the respective First Nations in the Newton Project area,” he added.
