Carbeeza (AUTO) has closed a non-brokered private placement for aggregate gross proceeds of $2,000,000.

The company issued 400 unsecured debentures at a price of $5,000 per debenture to company insiders.

The net proceeds will be used to scale up the company’s marketing campaign and for general corporate purposes.

The debentures mature on May 9, 2024, and bear interest at a rate of 10 per cent per annum, payable on the maturity date. The debentures are convertible into common shares at a conversion price of $0.40 per share.

The debentures, and any shares issuable upon conversion of the debentures, will be subject to a four-month hold period.

Carbeeza is a Canada-based software company whose platform is targeted at the automotive marketplace.

Carbeeza Inc. (AUTO) is unchanged, trading at C$0.245 per share at 1:40 pm ET.
