Texas Impaired Driving Forum

Lead Developer Dr. Jared Boock will present the company’s marijuana breathalyzer technologies at the 2022 edition of the Texas Impaired Driving Forum this February.

The 2021 Forum attracted 300 attendees from across the state of Texas, including traffic safety stakeholders in prosecution, judicial review, probation, law enforcement, education/advocacy, prevention, treatment and highway safety.

THC Breath Analyzer 4.0

Cannabix’s version 4.0 THC Breath Analyzer is showing less than half of the standard deviation variability of version 3.0.

Several components, such as the device’s internal sampling chambers, microfluidic sensors and related actuation mechanisms have been simplified to reduce cost and minimize manufacturing variability.

The first version 4.0 devices for human field and clinical testing are on track for later this month.

German cannabis legalization

The German coalition government recently entered into a four-year agreement to introduce the controlled distribution of recreational cannabis. With a population of over 83 million, the country could become one of the largest legal cannabis markets in the world.

Cannabix has been in discussions with German companies for the advancement of its breath testing tools and can allocate resources as necessary to take advantage of these opportunities.

Cannabix develops marijuana breathalyzer technologies for law enforcement and the workplace.

Cannabix (BLO) is up by 29.41 per cent and is currently trading at $0.66 per share as of 12:15 pm EST.
