Canadian Natural Resources (CNQ) has received exchange approval for a normal course issuer bid (NCIB).

Between March 13, 2023, and March 12, 2024, the corporation may purchase up to 92,296,006 shares for cancellation.

Daily repurchases will be limited to 1,376,002 common shares.

Under its current bid, expiring on March 10, Canadian Natural purchased 72,238,200 of its common shares at a weighted average price of $73.58.

Canadian Natural is a senior oil and natural gas production company with operations in Western Canada, the U.K. portion of the North Sea and Offshore Africa.

Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNQ) opened trading at C$79.64.
