Canada Silver Cobalt Works (CCW) will process two tonnes of mineralized material from the Castle and Beaver Mines for a South Korean client.

Processing will take place at the company’s nearby Temiskaming Testing Labs (TTL) in Cobalt, Ontario, and will include high-grade silver tailings from the mines.

CEO of Canada Silver Cobalt, Frank J. Basa, stated,

“Having met with South Korean EV metal buyers last week and with the TTL bulk processing facility fully commissioned, including the newly installed gravity processing plant, we have begun processing two bulk samples totalling approximately two tonnes of mineralized rock recovered from the waste piles and high-grade silver tailings at our Castle and Beaver Mines.”

The company shared the waste rock material will first be crushed and ground before being screened to recover potential native silver for processing into silver bars.

The remaining sulphide material will then go on to produce a high-grade gravity concentrate, which will be assayed for cobalt, nickel, copper, silver, gold, and arsenic. The silver tailings will be screened to remove any organics and then go through the gravity plant to produce a final concentrate.

The company plans to send these high-grade gravity concentrates to a facility in Lakefield, Ontario, where they will be converted into battery metals for the EV industry.

Canada Silver Cobalt Works Inc. (CCW) is up 10.00 per cent and is trading at $0.11 per share as of 2:58 p.m. ET.
