BWR Exploration Inc. (BWR) has received the $ 100,000-second tranche for its contribution agreement with Manitoba Mineral Development Fund Corporation (MMDF).

BWR is a public company focused on exploring base and precious metals with exploration projects in Manitoba, Northern Ontario, and Northern Quebec.

So far, BWR has received $200,000 of the total $300,000 grant that has been paid by MMDF and the corporation has until March 31, 2023, to provide the remaining amount.

The first tranche of proceeds received last fall enabled a baseline clean-up program at BWR’s existing exploration camp at Little Stull Lake in Manitoba. 35 soil samples were submitted for hydro-carbon analysis, and a small surficial area was identified as being of concern.

In addition, BWR recently received authorization to proceed with a soil remediation program alongside the leadership of the Manto Sipi Cree Nation (MSCN), which it hopes to begin in the late fall.

BWR also provided an update for its 2023 exploration proposal for several diamond drill holes. The company and the MSCN still need certain permissions from the Crown, which it will discuss over an in-community meeting happening today.

BWR believes the in-community meeting will allow for an early-stage exploration agreement with the MSCN, but the terms of this agreement would be subject to the outcome of the community consultations.

BWR Exploration Inc. (BWR) is down 25.00 per cent, trading at $0.03 as of 4:20 p.m.
