Bonterra Resources (BTR) has closed its brokered private placement with Cornmark Securities Inc. for $25 million.

Bonterra issued 6.4 million of its common shares for $1.21 per share for gross proceeds of $7.75 million.

8.38 million flow-through common shares were also issued at a price of $2.06 per share for gross proceeds of $17.2 million.

Cormark Securities Inc. led the offering on behalf of a syndicate of agents.

The money raised will be used to cover exploration expenses for the company’s projects in Québec and general working purposes.

Bonterra is a Canadian gold exploration company with a large portfolio of advanced exploration assets anchored by a central milling facility in Quebec.

Bonterra Resources Inc. (BTR) is up 0.80 per cent and is trading at $1.26 per share as of 2:44 p.m. EST.
