Bombardier (BBD.A) has sold a Challenger 3500 business jet to Italian-based Air Corporate SRL.

Air Corporate SRL is one of Italy’s leading aircraft management firms with eight locations throughout the country.

This marks the first time the aircraft will be offered for charter in Europe.

Introduced in 2021, the Challenger 3500 combines performance, advantageous operating costs, and elegant amenities into an elevated passenger experience. Features include the industry’s first voice-controlled cabin, wireless chargers, and a cabin altitude of 41,000 ft., a 31-per-cent improvement from its predecessor.

Earlier this year, the aircraft captured the Best of the Best Red Dot Award for its cutting-edge design.

“We’re thrilled to be adding the new Challenger 3500 aircraft to our fleet,” said Roano Grandi, President of Air Corporate SRL, alongside Jacopo Foroni, CFO and Paolo Serini, COO. “This exceptional aircraft provides us with an outstanding option to further enhance our charter business and provide our discerning customers with an exceptional private aircraft experience at every level.”

Bombardier provides business jet design, manufacturing and services.

Bombardier (BBD.A) is up by 3.71 per cent trading at $30.19 per share at 9:30 am ET.
