Bombardier (BBD.A) has launched its new myMaintenance App, an exclusive tool to support customers subscribed to the Smart Link Plus program.

The Smart Link Plus box is an aircraft health monitoring unit that records crucial aircraft data. The program was developed in collaboration with GE Aviation exclusively for Bombardier aircraft.

Thanks to the new, user-friendly myMaintenance App, aircraft data is easily accessible.

The app enables flight and maintenance crews to quickly and efficiently prioritize and proactively troubleshoot aircraft in-flight fault notifications, increasing an aircraft’s operational efficiency.

Aircraft data displayed in the intuitive myMaintenance App is available anytime, anywhere on any personal electronic device.

Jean-Christophe Gallagher, Executive VP of Services and Support and Corporate Strategy at Bombardier, commented on the new smart linked application.

“Bombardier business jet operators expect the most expedient resolutions to their operating issues—and the new myMaintenance App, available exclusively to Smart Link Plus subscribers, is there to provide that peace of mind,” he said.

The Smart Link Plus is available free of charge to operators of Challenger 300 and Challenger 350 aircraft and can be installed at a Bombardier service centre.

So far, more than 98 per cent of current Global 7500 aircraft customers have enrolled in Smart Link Plus.

Bombardier is a global leader in aviation, creating innovative and game-changing planes.

Headquartered in Montréal, Bombardier is present in more than 12 countries including its production/engineering sites and its customer support network.

Bombardier Inc. (BBD.A) is currently down 3.31 per cent, trading at $1.75 per share as of 10:04 am ET.
