Bombardier (BBD.A) has successfully closed its senior notes offering.

The company issued US$750,000,000 of notes due 2028. The notes carry a coupon of 6.0 per cent per annum and mature on February 15, 2028.

Proceeds of this offering, together with cash on hand, will be used for the repayment and/or retirement of outstanding debt, including $514 million of outstanding notes due October 2022 and $534 million of outstanding notes due 2023.

Bombardier is a global leader in aviation. The company operates 4,900 aircraft in service in more than 12 countries across the globe.

Bombardier Inc. (BBD.A) is down 1.05 per cent, trading at C$1.88 per share at 1:20 pm ET.
