Bluesky (BTC) has secured C$1,183,576 in custom GPU mining rigs.

The new order, finalized today, furthers the company’s plans to scale mining operations in a staged approach to increase revenue and profitability.

The assets, sourced from Pandaminer, build upon and leverage the supply chain relationship for mining machines with the Chinese company.

At a time of industry chip shortages and major delays, Bluesky expects its new assets to arrive in 2-3 weeks and to be in full production within 45 days.

The company’s focus on GPU technology, geared toward Ethereum mining, looks to surpass its record Q3 revenue exceeding $1 million.

Management believes Ethereum mining is a prudent business decision that should continue to demonstrate growth and profitability. This is in addition to its intention to increase ASIC mining activities to take advantage of Bitcoin’s strong performance.

Ben Gelfand, Bluesky’s CEO, stated,

“We continue to demonstrate our ability to execute rapidly against our plans and announced strategies. Leveraging strategic relationships in the hardware space with key vendors and industry leading players ensures that we can acquire the right hardware, at the right price points, and in a timely fashion so we can put our shareholders’ investments to work.”

Bluesky Digital Assets mines digital currencies, such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, and develops value-added technology services for the digital currency market.

Bluesky (BTC) is unchanged trading at $0.45 per share as of 1:49 pm ET.
