Blackrock Silver (BRC) has expanded the footprint of mineralization at Tonopah West beyond the DPB resource area.

New results from infill and step-out drill programs at Tonopah West have encountered more high-grade silver and gold, including 864 g/t AgEq over 1.1 metres.

The company is working on a maiden resource estimate based on an 800-by-800-metre area of mineralization and expects to complete the estimate in the first quarter of 2022.

Step-out drilling beyond the DPB area has successfully expanded the footprint of the mineralized area, while in-fill results continue to demonstrate high-grade mineralization in the growing area.

Drilling intersected significant mineralization in both the Merten and Bermuda vein systems, which both lie outside of the DPB resource area. The Merten vein system is the largest mineralized feature identified to date.

Andrew Pollard, Blackrock Silver president and CEO, commented,

“The Merten Vein system, already by far the largest mineralized structure we’ve identified on the property, continues to expand with drilling.

“We’ve completed over 80,000 metres of drilling at the project this year, and 110,000 metres since inception in June of 2020,” added Mr. Pollard, “and we believe that we’ve barely scratched the surface in understanding its true potential.”

The 2021 program is now complete, with 82,066 metres drilled this year and approximately 110,741 metres drilled since June 2020. Assays are still pending for another 13 core holes and 12 RC holes.

“We’re well-financed and gearing up to hit the ground sprinting in the New Year in our efforts to define just how large this system may truly be,” Mr. Pollard remarked.

Blackrock Silver is a junior mining company focused on precious metal exploration in Nevada.

Shares in Blackrock Silver (BRC) are steady, trading at $0.88 per share as of 9:55 am EST.
