Blackrock Silver (BRC) has drilled 5,080 g/t AgEq and cut multiple 1 kg/t intercepts at Tonopah West in Nevada.
The results demonstrate the continuity of high-grade gold and silver over an 800 m by 800 m area that will form the basis of the upcoming maiden resource in Q1 2022.
Highlights include:
- 4.1 m grading 2,027 g/t AgEq (9.07 g/t Au and 1,120 g/t Ag, including 0.9 m grading 5,080 g/t AgEq (20.85 g/t Au and 2,994 g/t Ag)) from the high-grade Bermuda Vein
- 1,006 g/t AgEq over 0.7 m (5.61 g/t Au and 445 g/t Ag) from the Mule Vein
- 1.5 m grading 1,242 g/t AgEq (6.5 g/t Au and 592 g/t Ag), including 0.7 m returning 2,305 g/t AgEq (12.1 g/t Au and 1,095 g/t Ag) from the Merten Vein
Fifteen infill core holes have assays pending from the DPB Target while nine RC drill holes are pending from the step-out drilling program.
Two core holes at DPB are currently in process with eight remaining to be completed to finish the resource drill campaign by the end of this month.

“As our resource definition program winds down, infill assays continue to deliver world-class results, with the Bermuda Vein returning our best intercept on a grade-by-thickness basis at the project this year in drill hole TXC21-026, which also included our highest-grade silver intercept at the project to date.
Since commencing drilling in June of last year, we have completed nearly 100,000 m of drilling across the entire project and look forward to the delivery of a maiden resource estimate in Q1 2022 that will cover the DPB Vein swarm over an 800 by 800 m area.
Our understanding of this vein corridor shows that the best mineralization lies between two andesite units with the high-grade gold and silver hosted in veins cutting the West End Rhyolite and flow-banded rhyolite of the Tonopah Formation. In essence, what we’re seeing is that the geology resembles a doubled-stuff Oreo cookie with the vein swarm occupying the rich filling and the two andesites providing the hard crust.”
