Big Ridge (BRAU) has extended gold and copper mineralization on its Hope Brook Project.
The results are part of phase I 2021-2022 exploration on the Newfoundland and Labrador-based project, which is focused on expanding the Main and 240 zones near surface and testing their down dip extensions by August 2022.
Hope Brook hosts an indicated gold resource totalling 5.5M tonnes grading 4.77 g/t gold for 844,000 ounces, as well as inferred resources totalling 836,000 tonnes grading 4.11 g/t gold for 110,000 ounces.
“Drilling continues to intercept gold and copper mineralization outside the current resource envelope to the southwest and 100 per cent of the drill results received to date have intersected gold mineralization, suggesting Hope Brook remains open for potential resource expansion,” stated Mike Bandrowski, Big Ridge’s President and CEO.
