Beyond Minerals (BY) has staked 114 claims over 2,220 hectares in northwestern Ontario’s Borland Lake, Favourable Lake, and Gorman River areas.

The company stated these claims are positioned within and next to the Favourable Lake greenstone belt, which surrounds the historic Berens River Mine and contains many untested gold, base metals, and lithium anomalies.

“Northwestern Ontario is a promising area for high-grade gold deposits and battery metals… has attracted interest from several top-tier gold producers, including Barrick, Evolution Mining, and Kinross, which have further established the region as a leading mining hub,” Dr. Craig Gibson, President and CEO of Beyond Minerals, said.

The area has a recorded exploration history dating back to the late 1920s. Although, it has seen minimal ground exploration and most work completed in the area was concentrated on the Berens River Mine No.1 vein, the un-mined No. 3 vein, and the immediate surrounding area.

In addition, the company has engaged a contractor to conduct an airborne geophysical survey over the Fabie block of its Easterchester-Fabie property in Quebec.

The survey is scheduled to be completed sometime later this month. Beyond Minerals stated it is also looking at its options for advancing a preliminary drill program on the Fabie block, which will be completed during the company’s fourth quarter.

Beyond Minerals Inc. (BY) is up 90.00 per cent trading at $0.19 per share as of 12:11 p.m. ET.
