Bee Vectoring (BEE) is reporting increased sales commitments in the U.S. Pacific Northwest.

This has resulted in a tripling of acres managed by its natural precision agriculture system and CR-7 biological fungicide in FY2022 compared to the previous year. Clients include 11 berry growers in Oregon and Washington covering 360 acres, including five paying clients and six growers conducting demonstration trials.

The company’s managed acres in the Pacific Northwest in 2022 represent one third of the 25,000 blueberry, blackberry and raspberry acres in the region.

It is currently pursuing opportunities with growers in the region focused on late-blooming berry varieties. It is also in discussions with a major distributor to enter the Canadian market upon finalizing all regulatory requirements.

“Last year, BVT recorded sales in the Pacific Northwest for the first time and a year later we are pleased to announce significant acceleration into the region,” said Ian Collinson, Sales Manager at BVT. “Based on prior experiences with growers, once they are able to see the benefits of the BVT system through the trials, they will efficiently integrate the technology into their entire operation.”

“We continue to expand annually in all three major growing regions in the Pacific Northwest: Northern Washington, Eastern Washington, and Northwestern Oregon,” added Ryan Dragoo, Pacific Northwest Territory Manager at BVT. “This is a positive sign that growers see the value of BVT in boosting yield and improving fruit quality and plant health.”

Bee Vectoring Technologies offers biological pesticide alternatives using commercially grown bees.

Bee Vectoring (BEE) is unchanged trading at $0.225 per share as of 9:30 am EST.
