Baylin’s (BYL) Galtronics subsidiary has received multiple orders for its multi-beam antennas.
The orders are worth over $1 million.
An unnamed North American carrier has made the purchase orders. This is the company’s first multi-beam order for use with the low-band spectrum, as well as the new C-band spectrum.
Leighton Carroll, CEO of Baylin, stated,
“Galtronics’ multi-beam antennas deliver huge increases in network capacity… They have been deployed at airports, special events, and as cell-on-wheels to solve our customers’ needs for a quality experience in high-traffic environments.”
The multi-beam models were released only a short time ago, and Galtronics expects that the demand for mobile bandwidth will continue to grow as the need for these cellular connections at stadiums, venues, airports, and other high-traffic locations increases.
Minya Gavrilovic, President and CTO of Galtronics, commented,
“Within three months of our announcement of the availability of these new multi-beam antennas, we have received a significant order.”
Baylin is a leading diversified global technology company focused on passive and active radio-frequency products, satellite communications products and supporting services.
Baylin Technologies (BYL) is unchanged trading at $0.38 per share as of 12:21 pm EST.
