Tara Christie, President and CEO of Banyan Gold (TSXV:BYN) sat down with Brieanna McCutcheon at PDAC 2022 to discuss the drilling program underway at the Aurmac Property, Yukon.

The updated Resource Estimate comprises a total inferred mineral resource of 3,990,000 ‎ounces of gold on the property.

The recently completed 40,000 metres of drilling added over 3 million ounces of inferred mineral resources.

Banyan is now focused on advancing Aurmac to tier 1 (over 5 million ounces) by fall 2022.

When asked about some of the challenges the company faces, Tara cited metallugical testing and geotechnical drilling to nail down exact percentage recovery figures for shareholders and finding high grade zones to facilitate prompt payback.

Tara sees ample investment opportunity as gold continues appreciating and Banyan Gold focuses on expanding its gold resources to capitalize on this appreciation. Drilling costs have remained low for the industry.

Tara sees a positive outlook going forward, as Banyan’s stock price nears its 52 week high and shareholders in the mining sector are showing support for quality undervalued projects.

Banyan Gold Corp. is a Canadian mining company engaged in the acquisition, discovery, and development of mineral properties.
