Argo Gold Inc. (ARQ) tests showed 32.84 g/t Au over 2.5 metres in an area west of Uchi Lake, Ontario.

The result confirms there is high-grade gold mineralization in the Raingold area.

Argo Gold completed a 17 hole, 2670 metre drill program at its Uchi Lake gold project.

The project continues to show narrow vein, high-grade gold mineralization.

The 2021 drill program was designed to test 75 per cent more targets and expand known gold mineralization by 25 per cent.

Results have been received and lists of maps and interpretation are ongoing for all of Argo Gold’s drilling areas.

The first three holes targeted the Raingold gold-bearing system.

A zone of shearing has been identified over the 280 metres of strike length south of Raingold, and abundant sulphide mineralization along the newly exposed rock.

Argo Gold is also currently mapping at Raingold to understand the nature of the high-grade gold mineralization and its correlation to sulphides, structure and lithology.

Highlights from the drill holes include an area between 44 to 51.75 metres that had an intersection of 0.09 g/t Au over 7.75 metres, and another area at 189.14 metres which intersected 1.18 g/t Au of 2.16 metres.

Sample cutting was done on-site by Argo personnel and securely bagged. Samples were then transported by the corporation to Activation Laboratories Ltd.

William Kerr, consulting geologist for Argo Gold, approved the scientific and technical disclosure of the results.

Argo Gold Inc. (ARQ) is down 32.5 per cent and is trading at $0.13 per share at 1:21 p.m. ET.
