Apollo Silver (APGO) has received a drill permit for the Waterloo Silver-Barite project in California.

The County of San Bernardino issues a conditional temporary use permit to Apollo Silver, authorizing 2022 proposed drilling activities.

CEO of Apollo Silver, Tom Peregoodoff, said,

“Our maiden resource estimation work program at the Waterloo and Langtry silver-barite projects is well advanced with results expected in the first quarter of 2022. With the receipt of the Drill Permit from the County, we are well placed to deliver against the stated objectives of our 2022 proposed drill program.”

The drill permit is effective from February 1, 2022, for a one-year period. It can be renewed annually for up to five years.

Apollo Silver has posted the required reclamation bond of US$113,757.

The drill program will focus on understanding the high-grade silver mineralization, testing for other mineralizations, testing newly identified targets, and collecting data and samples for a metallurgical testing program.

Both projects, Waterloo and Langtry, in Arizona, began the on-the-ground technical program in November.

Apollo Silver started a three-dimensional ground-induced polarization and resistivity survey. The goal is to provide a detailed three-dimensional model to discern important structural and lithological features and identify possible mineralizations.

Apollo Silver is a mid-tier silver producer by focusing on silver projects in the US.

Apollo Silver (APGO) is down 3.17 per cent at C$0.61 per share at 12:09 PM EST.
