Amarillo Gold Corporation (AGC) has filed an NI 43-101 technical report for the Butiá Gold Prospect.

The Butiá Gold Prospect is one of 23 gold prospects on the Lavras do Sul Property in Rio Grande do Sul, southern Brazil.

The NI 43-101 technical report was prepared by VMG Consultoria e Soluções Ltda. for Lavras Gold Corp. and is effective as of January 25, 2022.

At the Butiá Prospect, gold mineralization begins at surface and extends to a depth of up to 300 metres. The width of the gold mineralized zones typically varies from 15 to 20 metres.

The gold resources for the Butiá Prospect are based on a block model interpolated by the Ordinary Kriging method.

According to the technical report, the mineral resource at the Butiá Prospect contains an estimated 128,623 ounces of hard rock-type gold in the measured category, 238,207 ounces in the indicated category, and 112,115 ounces in the inferred category.

The prospect also contains an estimated 2,906 ounces of saprolite-type gold in the measured category, 7,568 ounces in the indicated category, and 2,526 ounces in the inferred category.

These numbers assume a cut-off grade of 0.3 g/t gold and contain up to 0.96 g/t gold in the inferred category.

Amarillo is advancing two gold projects located near excellent infrastructure in mining-friendly states in Brazil.

In addition to the Lavras do Sul Property, Amarillo is developing the Posse Gold Project on the Mara Rosa Property in Goiás State.

Shares in Amarillo Gold Corporation (AGC) are steady, trading at $0.42 per share as of 2:15 pm EST.
