Almaden (AMM) has signed a cooperation agreement with the Ejido Santa María Zotoltepec in Puebla State, Mexico.

Santa María Zotoltepec is located 1.5 km from the footprint of the Ixtaca project.

The agreement is focused on contributions to support an agro-technological package aimed at sustainable plant nutrition and soil enrichment.

Duane Poliquin, Chair of Almaden, said the practices stated in this agreement have been in place for years; continuous dialogue with the overarching objective of building the mine with local communities.

“This agreement cements this approach through local leadership and sets us up to continue delivering on such fundamental priorities as water rights, education, health, opportunity, workers’ rights, environment, culture, and more.”

Almaden is an exploration stage company which engages in the exploration and development of properties in Canada and Mexico.

Almaden Minerals Ltd. (AMM) opened trading at C$0.30 per share.
