  • A.I.S. Resources updates on its Pocitos Properties in Salta, Argentina

A.I.S. Resources has provided an update to its Pocitos properties in the Salta, Argentina region.

The company said that Recharge Resources has exercised its right to acquire Pocitos 1 from Spey Resources.

This comes following A.I.S.’s option agreement with Spey and an additional agreement with Ekeko S.A.

“This further positive news bears well for a very busy and productive spring for AIS as we move forward with our activities in Argentina,” Martyn Element, CEO of A.I.S. Resources, said in a release.

A.I.S. Resources previously entered into an agreement with Spey Resources in June 2021 which gave Spey the right to acquire 100 per cent interest in Pocitos 1, spanning 800 hectares and Pocitos 2, spanning 532 hectares.

The company also entered into an agreement with Ekeko in June 2021 where Ekeko was to acquire 100 per cent interest in five mining tenements with a total area spanning 4,257 hectares.

Drilling from the Recharge’s 2022 drill campaign at Pocitos 1 assayed 169 PPM and over a two-week period averaging 161 PPM Lithium.

Meanwhile, Pocitos 2 is permitted to drill two additional wells immediately at Recharge’s go ahead.

Headquartered out of Vancouver, British Columbia A.I.S. Resources is an investment issuer focused on lithium, precious and base metals.

Shares of A.I.S. Resources (AIS) are unchanged at C$0.025.
